New
Stadium Technology
Over the past eighteen months
ProZone have forged two key strategic relationships
that have revolutionised our game capture and
delivery processes.
SONY and SM Technology have been the companies
behind our stadium installations since July 200 6
and together have enabled ProZone to transform
the match day capture processed at our football
grounds worldwide.
Until recently, ProZone would offer total solutions
to our clubs, from installation, to game processing
and delivery. However, as our customer base has
continued to grow, we needed to find a solution
which would enable greater efficiency moving forward.
Following a successful
collaboration at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, we
have since formed a partnership with SM Technology
that means all new stadium builds will contain
digital IP infrastructure. Each will contain state-of-the-art
Sony capture equipment, hardware and software, with
SM the company recommended by Sony to conduct
the installations.
The benefits to client clubs are numerous and
ProZone’s Phil Tordoff said: "Working with Sony
and SM Technology ensure ProZone are at the forefront
of stadium technology. We offer the only digital
IP stadium platform which provides for superior
vision quality and ease of additions and upgrades
as future technologies are developed."
ProZone’s Barry McNeill
added: "The new stadium builds represent a major
enhancement for ProZone and have given us a greater
platform for international expansion. There are
numerous benefits to our customer base and this
will also mean enhanced operational efficiency,
speed and game delivery."
