A Football Revolution
The Financial Times and Prozone work together to create a series of specially commisioned 3D images from the recent Champions League Final.
The Financial Times has recently commissioned artist Giles Revell to create a series of images - based on exclusive data provided by Prozone - that represented the Champions League Final between Barcelona and Manchester United.
Commissioned by creative consultant Mark Leeds and working in collaboration with CGI artist Matt Painter with Data Manipulation by Richard Crafts, a series of stunning 3D images were created, each illustrating the 'tug of war between the two sides' in terms of particular aspects of the game... possession, passes, touches and goals etc. The form of these sculptures being driven purely by the progression of the game itself.
The images will be published in the FT Weekend Magazine on Saturday June 18th.
