Prozone presents FIFA commission study at The Turf and Grass Expo 2010.

Prozone’s Head of Business Development, Blake Wooster will be presenting a FIFA commissioned study to answer the question; “Does the game change on artificial turf compared with good natural grass?”

The Turf and Grass Expo 2010 is an international convention focusing on artificial turf and natural grass providing a forum for stakeholders to share ideas and conduct business.

In a recent study by Prozone, commissioned by FIFA, the independent study compared technical performance analysis variables from 100 games – 50 on good quality natural grass and 50 on artificial turf – and concluded that there were no significant differences in performance. The comparison included matches from the FIFA U-20 World Cup 2007 Canada, UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League.
