Started in 2003, the ODP National Camps offer the best players from the U.S. & Canada club system, the Super Y-League, the chance to receive professional coaching and the opportunity to be scouted by U.S. national team and college coaches. More than 200 boys and 200 girls from the U13 to U17 age groups are invited to attend after being identified during the 2010 season.

During the 2011 USL ODP Camps, Prozone will be analyzing player and team performance, providing coaches and players online video analysis via our customised online Player Profile platform. Data and video analysis will be used to benchmark USL Super Y ODP player performance and further develop coaching curriculums.

Players’ performance will be presented via a customized online platform, to include technical and tactical data and analyses, interactive graphs, key performance indicators, and position specific metrics.

United Soccer Leagues National Technical Director Peter Mellor, will direct the camps,

“I am very excited to have Prozone as a part of our 2011 ODP program," Mellor said. "This player analysis program is a way for players to enhance their college CV by adding Prozone player analysis information to it. The Prozone player analysis now gives the coach the ability to really zone in to evaluate game play and player performance to use the data and video as coaching tools for their own development by watching it and identifying their individual strengths and weaknesses.”

Andrew Opatkiewicz, Prozone Americas Business Development Manager, commented,

“Prozone are excited to partner with the United Soccer Leagues in order to bring our professional performance analysis services to some of the top young athletes in the country. The USL has an impressive track record of developing players through their youth competitions, the W-League, Premier Development League and professional tiers. With Prozone, the USL and ODP players will gain further insight into team and player performance, and further enhance the resources to the USL to continue to develop college and professional athletes."
