Prozone and Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) announce a strategic partnership to further develop their performance applications and research insights.

The partnership has been developed to establish a foundation for Prozone and LJMU to work together for their mutual benefit.  The partnership will involve collaborative research projects, the academic development of LJMU students through work based placements and continued professional development opportunities for Prozone staff.

LJMU’s Research Institute for Sport and Exercise Sciences is one of the top rated departments in the UK for world leading research. The Institute provides innovative, research-led undergraduate and postgraduate programmes that are supported by world class academics and state-of-the-art laboratory facilities as well as consultancy projects for elite athletes and national and international sports organisations.

Prozone have led the development and integration of performance analysis in football for over a decade and have a clear intent to remain at the forefront of the industry. Prozone are committed to providing their customers with the most accurate performance information through the application of existing and emerging technologies. Supplementing Prozone’s existing analysis and product teams with the academic and scientific expertise provided by LJMU will further enhance these crucial functions of the business.
