The last 12 months have seen Prozone expand our operations and services in the Middle East, with a series of agreements with clubs, associations and governing bodies across the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Israel.
With World Cup Football coming to Qatar in 2022, and Israel to host the UEFA U-21 Championship in 2013, evidence of a strong emerging football industry is clear across the region. With developments at the highest level, Israeli Premier League Champions Maccabi Haifa FC have now become the first club in Israel to work with Prozone. The long term agreement will see the club using Prozone’s MATCHVIEWER product. The world’s leading opposition scouting and post-match analysis system will provide technical, tactical and video analysis for all Maccabi Haifa's Ligat Winner matches, and Itamar Chizik, Maccabi Haifa FC CEO, is eager to reach the same levels of success in club football;
"We at Maccabi Haifa are very excited and happy for our new cooperation with Prozone and we look forward to reap the rewards on a professional level."
Martin Bland, Prozone’s Business Development Manager in the Middle East commented on the development across the region;
“The leagues, the football associations and the clubs are realising the need for emerging technologies to aid development and that’s how it started in Europe. Having already cultivated positive relationships with clients and colleagues in the Middle East, we look forward to expanding our operations here to further serve our growing customer base.”
