Prozone client Al Jazira win 2010-11 UAE League and Cup double

Congratulations to Al Jazira on winning both the UAE President’s Cup and the UAE Etisalat Pro-League title in a record breaking season.

With ambitions of league titles Al Jazira appointed former FIFA Club World Cup winner with Internacional Abel Braga as Head Coach in 2008 and the employment of Prozone performance analysis services in 2009. Building on the foundations laid down over the last few seasons, Braga, Al Jazira’s Brazilian Head Coach has been influential in the club’s achievement and recognised the importance of the analysis provided by Prozone;

To win the league and President’s Cup for the first time in our history is a fantastic achievement for Al Jazira, and one very important tool that helped us reach this success was Prozone.”

Al Jazira have been using PROZONE3 and MATCHVIEWER for both post-match and oppositional analysis and by winning the President’s Cup and the league in less than a month, both for the 1st time in their history, the Abu Dhabi based team have had an unprecedented season and set a number of records in UAE football. Having gone 26 league matches without a defeat, Al Jazira have equalled the league record, and are the only team in UAE football to have won the title four weeks before the end of the competition and with a record difference of 12 points between them and their nearest rivals.
