Prozone Analysis: From Desktop to iPod

As we continue to enhance the way coaching teams interact with the Prozone suite of products, the start of the 09/10 European season will see them evolve into a single desktop application on your PC or MAC.

Prozone Analysis: From Desktop to iPod

Through enabling all Prozone products to be launched from a single desktop application, users can easily switch between the single game, post-match analysis provided through PROZONE3 and MATCHVIEWER to the leading multi-game analysis database; TREND. The new software will be fully compatible with previously archived games, and will including a direct link to the forthcoming Prozone game download portal.

Product Manager Dan Mason added; "By improving the usability and architecture, our products and analysis data will be made available more easily while providing increased product synergy and flexibility to users."

The simplified setup and navigation will improve usability and make archiving more straightforward, allowing games and folders to be structured to meet the needs of each individual club. Furthermore, with the transfer of data and security a critical factor in our service the improvements will further secure the confidentiality of data.

We firmly believe that the most important factors in performance analysis are the effective use of data and the sharing of performance insights. In line with the launch of our desktop application, all Prozone video will be supplied in the more flexible WMV video format. Whilst not compromising on quality, the file size will be dramatically reduced from an average of 4GB per video to 1.5GB resulting in a much improved online transfer.

Dan Mason added; "While we strive for our products to stand-out and provide unique benefits, it is equally important that they can work alongside other technologies. In particular, the new iPod export will provide an important link to the popular media platform – enabling both video and animation to be viewed on-the-go by players and the coaching team."

This video enhancement will improve the opportunity for clubs to import and display their own video in the suite of Prozone products and for the first time export video clips ready for viewing on iPods and other Apple products; iPhones, Apple MAC's etc, as well as other handheld media devices.
