Prozone and Liverpool John Moores University, drawing on the expertise of professionals and academics, are continuing to pass our combined knowledge and experience on to a range of course students through our Performance Analysis training courses.
In November 2011 Prozone and LJMU ran two highly successful training courses covering Level 1 and the introduction of level 2 Football Performance Analysis Training, which 100% of course students continue to recommend. “Excellent, catered for all learning styles” said a Level 2 course student when asked about the tutor, and in regards to the facilities “fantastic, best I’ve been to.”
After a successful programme of level 1 Introductory training courses earlier in 2011, Prozone have formulated a partnership with LJMU to provide a unique mix of learning with further courses and the introduction of intermediate Level 2. Aimed to further develop understanding of Performance Analysis, Level 2 provides hands-on experience with Prozone’s elite software including PROZONE3, with the aim to prepare course students for what can be expected from employment in this area.
The two courses were attended by a limited number of course students interested in the field or a career in performance analysis. As well as tuition and demonstrations provided by Prozone & LJMU, each were given industry specific topic plans to discuss and present using the industry leading analysis software, and a guest presentation from Huddersfield Town Performance Analyst Chris Markham providing a unique insight into his role at a professional club. “Excellent, inspiring stuff” said one course participant “I feel lucky to have been part of the course which gave us time to learn and deliver ourselves.”
The training programmes being run at the state of the art Tom Reilly Building, home to LJMU’s School of Sport and Exercise Sciences, are continuing in the New Year, with three further dates which will run between 04th-05th February (Level 1-SOLD OUT & Level 2), March 31-01st April (Level 1 & 3), and May 26-27th (Level 2 & 3).
20+ previous Level 1 course students are now working with professional clubs.
