Football Association of Iceland extend contract to use Prozone MATCHVIEWER
We’re pleased to announce that the Football Association of Iceland (KSI) have extended their contract to use our MATCHVIEWER platform until 2016.
As the KSI reaffirms its commitment to performance analysis, the deal will see the Icelandic Men’s, Women’s and U21 national teams continue to use MATCHVIEWER
for all games over the next three years.
Currently ranked 90th in the world, Iceland have risen 24 places in the FIFA standings since adopting Prozone performance analysis solutions in February 2011. Managed by former Sweden and Nigeria boss Lars Lagerback, the current men's national squad features a number of rising stars such as Gylfi Sigurdsson of Tottenham Hotspur and Ajax’s Kolbeinn Sigthorsson.
Speaking about the KSI’s continued use of MATCHVIEWER, Siggi Eyjolfsson, Head Coach of the Iceland women's national team, said, "We at the Football Association of Iceland are delighted to have extended our contract with Prozone. Prozone has helped us tremendously in our preparation for international matches and has become a vital source of information for our national team coaches and players."
"We hope to continue to improve the performance of our national teams and our work with Prozone will be an important part of that process for years to come."
Providing unique technical and tactical information from a single camera source, MATCHVIEWER is the world’s most popular opposition scouting and post-match analysis system. Developed alongside some of football’s leading coaches, MATCHVIEWER is used at all levels of the game, from academy to first team.
We look forward to continuing to work closely with the KSI as we provide them with a world-class performance analysis service in the years to come.
