University of Florida Women secured their 10th Southeastern Conference Soccer Tournament victory in 16 years on Sunday as they defeated Auburn 3-0 in the final.
With the Gators having also won their 12th regular season title in October, 2012 has been another vintage year for one of the most successful women’s college teams in the United States.
By winning the tournament, Florida have sealed their place in the NCAA Championship’s elite
field of 64 for the 16th time in the team’s 18-year history. The number two seed in their section of the draw, the Gators will be looking to extend their excellent run of form and progress to the latter stages of the competition.
