Prozone are pleased to announce that Arsenal FC have now extended their contract with Prozone into the tenth consecutive year.

Arsenal FC extend Prozone service to 10 years

The most successful manager in the history of Arsenal Football Club and widely regarded as one of the world's best managers, Arsène Wenger was one of the first managers to embrace a scientific approach to performance analysis. First selecting Prozone in September 2000, Arsenal are now entering their 10th season of continuous service and remain Prozone’s longest standing club and manager.

A forward thinking manager, Arsène Wenger is an advocate of the integration of sports science into the coaching process. Arsenal utilise the full post-match PROZONE3 analysis service via a 10-camera installation and they were the first to upgrade to the full digital IP system when the Emirates stadium opened in July 2006.

According to Arsène Wenger…

"The benefits given to my coaching team both in terms of physical performance, work rate, tactical and game specific skills are unsurpassed. The Prozone system provides a dynamic and unique insight into the team’s performance. Prozone have continually provided Arsenal with a product and service of great reliability, consistency and expertise."

The 2009/10 season will see the first team utilising both post-match and opposition analysis. In addition Arsenal will also be using Prozone’s DASHBOARD, which will enable staff to identify trends online and view the most important physical and technical indicators of their team's performance against opponent performance and league averages.

The new agreement will for the first time include post-match analysis for the Arsenal Reserve team via our MATCHVIEWER product. This full compliment of data on players from reserve level through to the first team will provide the coaching team with a unique opportunity to monitor reserve team players and benchmark their performances against those already making regular first team appearances.

Sam Tobin, Arsenal's Performance Analyst commented; "The renewal of Arsenal's association with Prozone represents the manager's continued trust and faith in the performance data provided to his staff and players. With the inclusion of Prozone for Arsenal's Reserve team games, this high level data will begin to be integrated throughout all levels of the club in it's pursuit of excellence."

Paul Boanas, Prozone's Head of Analysis Services added, “We are really pleased to extend our agreement with Arsenal into their 10th season and it is fantastic to have had a continuous relationship for so long. Testament to both the foresight of the manager and the standard of the service we provide."
